A few weeks ago I shared a sneak peak of our new patio table here. We decided to host one last summer party for Paul’s birthday. Since we sold our previous patio furniture with our first home, we were in need of some furniture for our empty patio. Mr. Handy Husband volunteered to build us a table and benches and I have to say it turned out quite nice. A solid 10 for this solid piece of furniture. Seriously, it’s really heavy. We had to seek help (Thanks, Russ!) to carry to the patio because I wasn’t strong enough to lift. Shall we scroll through some photos?
The good news is that table will never blow away, even if we accidentally leave the umbrella open. 😉 Here’s to hoping we have many more beautiful Fall days so we can keep enjoying our new table!
PATIO DETAILS: We used Cedar Tone Weather Shield Pressure-treated wood for the table and benches from Home Depot. The beverage coolers are plastic window boxes, also from Home Depot. We finished the wood with two coats of Thompson’s WaterSeal Waterproofing Stain in solid Woodland Cedar. Want more details on how to build? He followed the Kruse’s Workshop tutorial from Remodelaholic’s blog.
