Meet Nick & Natalie. Married on July 19th at the charming Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. These two knew exactly what they wanted their wedding day to be like. When I met Natalie for our first meeting she provided me with the most specific details (which I loved!) and they were quick to decide on final designs. They have this sweet and steadfast love for one another; completely adorable and inspiring.
Their invitations and programs were inspired by their wedding colors: black, ivory and cornflower blue. The 1920’s influenced their wedding day details, also incorporated into the design of the invite and program. An invitation, guest information card and RSVP postcard nested inside a matte black pocket with scalloped edges. An ivory diamond-shaped logo was placed on the front of the black pocket for interest and contrast. The ornate flourishes were inspired by the lace bridesmaid dresses. Touches of cornflower blue were added for a splash of color.
I was so honored to design Nick & Natalie’s wedding invitations and programs. A very fun design for a super fun couple. It was even more fun to see their wedding day unfold as a guest. Wishing the Bride and Groom many years of happiness, love and laughter!
