These mini chalkboard signs were one of my favorite little details from Kyla & Ryan’s wedding. You may have seen a similar photo of these sweet little chalkboards over here. Well, they just happen to be very easy to make. So easy, my nephew (2 years old at the time) was able to help us assemble and practice coloring with chalk. Look at those long fingers!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Mini chalkboard signs (we found the ones below at Michael’s, but I have also seen them at David’s Bridal and Etsy)
- Wooden wheels for the base (sold in 10 packs at Michael’s or any other craft store with wood products)
- Glue (optional)
Write on the signs before placing in the base. Pop your sign into the wooden base (wheel). If the stick does not fit snuggly into the hole, I would suggest gluing to keep the mini chalkboard from falling apart or toppling over. And, you’re done! Super easy, right? Anyone else using mini chalkboards for their wedding or another event? Maybe decorating with chalkboards in your home?
