Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing a recipe for one of my favorite deserts- cupcake bites. For our wedding we opted to skip the traditional cake and go for something cute and bite-size. These delicious cupcake bites melt in your mouth and can be color coordinated to any color scheme. The featured desert was homemade cupcake bites, but we had a whole table full of sweet treats. To name a few: brownies, bars, peanut better cups, pretzel M&M’s, mint Oreo cookies and original Oreo cookies. Is your mouth watering yet? Mine sure is!
Cupcakes bites can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer. It’s also a really great excuse to have your friends over and spend an afternoon in the kitchen whipping up a few batches. It goes very quick once you get a system down. You can also have an assortment of flavors. We had yellow cake, chocolate and strawberry. I’ve also made them with white cake mix, red velvet and funfetti. What are your wedding day desert plans? Cake? Pie? Ice Cream?
